Zoom in and out of the time scale

Use the Mouse Zoom Method commands to zoom in and out of a selected area of the graph. Graph areas are defined by the X and Y scales. The Y scale (axis), which runs vertically along the left side of the graph, plots data values. The X scale (axis), which runs horizontally along the bottom of the graph, plots the time scale.

To zoom into the time scale (X axis):

  1. Click ChartMouse Zoom Method and select Time Scale
  2. Click the left mouse button and drag the mouse horizontally across the time scale (X axis) to select the graph area that you want to zoom into.
  3. Release the mouse button to view the selected area.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have the desired view of the graph area.
Note

Use the (Increase Time Span) and (Decrease Time Span) toolbar buttons to adjust the amount of viewable data. Click the Increase Time Span button to show more data. Click the Decrease Time Span button to show less data.
