Bulk editing alarms

The Module_Alarm.fmt provides a way to capture all alarms from a control module using a single format specification file template, independent of the module itself.

This explanation is based on the assumption that your configuration exists and that all you need to do is create or modify alarm help information for existing alarm containers. The general procedure to bulk edit alarms is:

1. Export the alarms using the Module_Alarm format specification file.

2. Open the file in MS Excel.

3. Edit the file as required.

4. Import the edited file.
