AS-i ports must be defined in the database before you can import AS-i device configurations. In DeltaV Explorer, create one AS-i device of each type you want to bulk edit. (This also creates AS-i discrete I/O.) Create a format specification file or use ASI_Dev.fmt, then export the devices. Edit the exported data as required, making sure that the node_name and card_slot field values are consistent with the nodes and AS-i cards in your database.
