Export modules

You must export each module in the hierarchy individually.

To export the modules:

  1. From DeltaV Explorer, select the SLAVE_CAS1 module under MASTER_CAS_1.

  2. Select File → Export → User Defined.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Click Next to acknowledge that you are exporting children of SLAVE_CAS1.

  5. Select the check box by SLAVE_CAS1.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Browse to the SLAVE_CAS.FMT format specification file.

  8. Specify the target data file as SLAVE_CAS.

  9. Export the data.

  10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 for MASTER_CAS. When you export MASTER_CAS select only the MASTER_CAS_1 module in the hierarchy diagram of the User Defined Export dialog. Do not select anything else.
