Nodes and fieldbus cards must be defined in the database before you can import fieldbus port configurations. Create and configure a port in DeltaV Explorer. Create a format specification file or use FF_Port.fmt then export the port. Edit the exported data as required, making sure that the node_name, card_slot, and card_type field values match the nodes and fieldbus cards in your database.
