Export the example to an Access database using ODBC

To export the example module to an Access database using an ODBC Data Source:

1. Select the example module in DeltaV Explorer.

2. Select File → Export → User Defined Format.

3. Select the Children of selected component radio button and click Next.

4. On the User Defined Export dialog, select the module, and then click Next.

5. On the Format source dialog, browse to and select the format file for the example module, and then click Next.

6. On the Export target dialog, select OBDC Data Source.  

7. Use the Browse button on the dialog to navigate to and select the DSN connected to the database you are using.

8. From the drop-down list, select the Access database table you created previously.

9. Click the Next button and the Export button.

10. If the data exported successfully, click on the Finish button.

You can now edit your configuration data in Access.
