Profibus ports must be defined in the database before you can import Profibus device configurations. In DeltaV Explorer, create one Profibus device of each type you want to bulk edit. (Depending on the device, this may also create slots and signals.) Create a format specification file or use Prof_Dev.fmt, then export the devices. Edit the exported data as required, making sure that the node_name and card_slot field values are consistent with the nodes and Profibus cards in your database.
