The DeltaV software includes the RIO1Card.fmt (for Zone 1 cards) and RIO2Card.fmt (for Zone 2 cards) format specification files you can use to import and export all remote I/O cards, unless you want to bulk edit card-level parameters. However, only a few cards have card-level parameters and these cards have only a few parameters. If you need to bulk edit a large number of cards that have card-level parameters, you can create the format specification files for each of the card types you want to bulk edit. To include card-level parameters in format specification files you must correctly specify the Subtype (browse to the location of the card you want to bulk edit).
