Ports must be defined in the database before you can import serial dataset configurations. Configure a dataset in DeltaV Explorer. Create a format specification file or use Prog_Serial_Dataset.fmt then export the dataset. Edit the exported data as required, making sure that the node_name and card_slot filed values are consistent with the nodes and serial cards in your database.
