The SPI to DeltaV XML interface handles at most two high and two low alarms for each analog input signal, identified as HI_HI_LIM, HI_LIM, LO_LIM and LO_LO_LIM in the XML. The SPI Import from DeltaV software function implements a standard mapping of interface elements into the SPI database.
