The System Alarm Management application lets you view and work with multiple alarms from one or more selected areas, units, modules, controllers (and related I/O), workstations, and Logic Solvers. This application provides a list of the selected alarms and a means to perform certain operations on these alarms, such as enabling, disabling, and setting limits and priorities. You can also generate, view, and print HTML and XML reports on alarm data. You must download any changes you make in the System Alarm Management application before these changes take effect in the database.
You can start the System Alarm Management application from the DeltaV
Explorer in the following ways:
- In the menu bar, click .
- On the DeltaV Explorer
toolbar, click
.
- In the content pane, select one or more areas, modules, units, nodes, or Logic Solvers. (Use the Shift key to select multiple items.) Right-click and then select System Alarm Management from the context menu.
- In the system tree, from either the Control Network or SIS Network, select a single area, module, unit, node, or Logic Solver. Right-click and then select System Alarm Management from the context menu.
