Create an SIS module

Create SIS modules with the same tools and techniques that  you use to create DeltaV control modules.

  1. In DeltaV Explorer, navigate to an area under System Configuration\Control Strategies.
  2. Right-click and select New → SIS Module.
  3. On the New dialog, enter a name of up to 16 characters.

    To start with a copy of an existing SIS module select Start From Existing and browse to an existing SIS module (or an SIS module template).

  4. Click OK to create the SIS module.

You can now open the module in Control Studio and add SIS function blocks, set initial parameter values, and so on.

You can also create an SIS module from Control Studio.
