This tool backs up the DeltaV database. The DeltaV database contains all the information about your control strategies and configuration data for your control network (nodes, controllers, I/O channels, workstations, and so on).
To name the backup other than the suggested default name, type a new name in this field. Otherwise, accept the default name, which indicates the original database name and the backup date in the format yyyy-mm-dd. If you back up a database more than once on the same date, you must use different names.
To specify the directory where you want the database backup stored, enter a network path or click Browse to select a path.
Identify the backup by entering a comment in this field.
