Archive a Version Control database

  1. Select Start → DeltaV Engineering → Database Administration.
  2. Double-click the VCAT Archive icon.
  3. Indicate whether you want to archive by version or date or by type of data.
  4. Enter a name for the archive file.
  5. Type in or browse to a valid location on the network to store the archive file.
    Note

    If you are typing in a path to a remote location, be sure to use the UNC path ( \\Servername\Sharename\Directory\Filename).

  6. Enter an optional comment.
  7. Click the Archive button to archive the file.
