Configure Daily Export

  1. Select Start → DeltaV Engineering → Database Administration.
  2. Click Enable or Disable as needed under Daily Export Enable or Disable.
  3. If enabling, enter the time in 24 hour format for the backup to occur and the network directory to where you want to export.
    Note

    The user logged in at the time of the export will need to be able to create on and write to the network drive to where you are exporting.

  4. If disabling, the export configuration fields are grayed out and the information is removed when you close the dialog.
  5. Click OK to save the configuration and exit the dialog. Click Cancel to exit the dialog without saving changes.
    The Daily Export feature exports all the database information required for a software upgrade or reinstallation of the DeltaV software.
