When this item is selected, users must log on to the DeltaV software using a Smart Card. When this item is not selected, users can log on to the DeltaV software with a Smart Card (if a card reader is installed) or without a card. The setting also affects logging on to the Windows desktop from FlexLock.
To require Smart Card logon:
Click the FlexLock icon in the upper left corner of the FlexLock window to open the menu and select (check) Smart Card Required
