Use the
Set Device Baud Rate dialog to set the baud rate for
devices that support the use of the baud rate attribute for a DeviceNet Object
(for more information, refer to the conformance documentation for the device).
When changing the baud rate, be aware of the following considerations:
- The device baud rate must match the master baud rate (the DeviceNet
port). The baud rate is a property of the port. Use DeltaV Explorer to view the
port properties. If you change the port baud rate in DeltaV Explorer, be sure
to download the change.
- I/O Polling must be disabled for the device.
Use DeltaV Explorer to view the device properties.
- The device must be reset or power cycled for the baud rate to take
effect.
