Parameters for selected nodes and subsystems are automatically refreshed at the Display Update Rate. The default update rate is every 15 seconds. If desired, you can manually update the parameters for a selected node or subsystem; however, it is recommended that you let Diagnostics automatically update parameters.
To manually update the parameters for a node or subsystem
Select the node or subsystem, and then click
This is a resource intensive function.
You can also press the F5 key to update the parameters.
Manually updating parameters is independent of polling. Polling, which occurs in the background, determines overall integrity and scans each node to determine if subsystems have been added or removed from the run-time system installed on the workstation.
