When you perform maintenance operations on a card, you can disable redundancy switchover for certain field faults such as an open circuit. Then, when you are ready, enable switchover.
To disable switchover
Rght-click either card in the redundant pair, and then select Disable Redundancy Switchover.
To enable switchover
Right-click either card, and then select Enable Redundancy Switchover.
