Display, print, and save revision information

From your workstation, you can generate a report of hardware and software revision information for both a selected node and for the entire DeltaV System. The report, which shows hardware, software, and serial number information for controllers, analog I/O modules, discrete I/O modules, and hardware and software revision information for workstations, can be saved to a file and printed.

Note

The report does not include serial numbers for workstations.

To generate hardware and software revision information for a node

Right-click the node for which you want revision information, and then click Node Revision Summary, or click ToolsNode Revision Summary. The Revision Summary dialog opens showing the revision information for the node.

To generate hardware and software revision information for the DeltaV System

Select DeltaV System in the hierarchy. Click ToolsSystem Revision Summary. The Revision Summary dialog opens showing the revision information for the DeltaV System.

To print the revision information

Follow the preceding steps to generate a report for either a node or the DeltaV System. Click the Print button in the Revision Summary dialog to print the revision information on the default printer.

Note

To change the default printer, select SettingsPrinter from the Start menu. In the Printers dialog, select the printer that you want to use as the default, and then click FileSet as Default.

To save the revision information to a file

Follow preceding steps to generate a report for either a node or the DeltaV System. Click the Save As button in the Revision Summary dialog. Type a name for the file. If you want to save the file on a different drive, find the drive and select the folder in which you want to save the file. Click Save to save the file in the specified folder.
