Clear a SISNet Repeater's saved status information

Use the Acknowledge DiagStatus command when any saved status information reported through the SISNet Repeater's DiagStatus parameter has been cleared. Status conditions in a SISNet Repeater cause bits to be set in the DiagStatus parameter. Once the condition specified in the DiagStatus parameter is cleared, the Acknowledge DiagStatus command can be used to clear the bits set in DiagStatus.

For example, if a Software Watchdog Timer reset occurs, the DiagStatus parameter indicates the Software Watchdog Timer reset event. Selecting the Acknowledge DiagStatus command clears the bit set in the DiagStatus parameter for the reset event.

To access the Acknowledge DiagStatus command:

  1. Select the SISNet Repeater that is reporting the status condition through its DiagStatus parameter.
  2. Right-click, and then select Acknowledge DiagStatus.
