Compare parameters for multiple items of the same type

Click View → Compare.

Select a node or subsystem. Diagnostics displays diagnostic information for that selection.

Select another node or subsystem of the same type in the same level in the hierarchy. You can compare parameters for up to eight items of the same type.

Tip

To view most parameters for all levels below a parent level, use Details view. Select the parent level (in Details view) and Diagnostics displays parameters for all levels below the selected level.

Note

Some items, such as datasets on different devices, and fieldbus devices on different ports, cannot be compared using Compare view.

Tip

If there are more parameters than fit in the parameters area, a scroll bar is displayed across the bottom border. Drag the scroll bar or click the arrows to find a specific parameter. In Compare view, right-click a parameter column for help on the parameter.
