Rescan a node

When a change occurs in the I/O subsystem, such as when an unconfigured card is removed, the Diagnostics program overlays the indicator on the card icon and adds RescanThisNode to the card name. Rescanning the node updates the hierarchy for that node.

To rescan a node

Select the node in the hierarchy that you want to update.
Click View → Rescan Node. The Diagnostics program updates the hierarchy for that node.

Note

The Diagnostics program automatically adds cards tithe hierarchy as they are installed or configured, but does not remove cards from the hierarchy when they are pulled out. The Rescan Node command synchronizes the hierarchy with the currently installed or configured subsystems.
