Use the Parameter View to define the characteristics of a module.
Parameter View displays the parameters, their parameter types, connection
types, and values. You can filter them to view only the parameters you want.
From the Parameter context menu (right-click within the Parameter View),
you can select
Parameter Filter List to view the parameters by
configuration grouping, as follows:
- Quick Configuration - group
of parameters that are identified as the most commonly used in process control
for configuration.
- User-defined 1 - list of
parameters that you define as the most common for your process. Specify which
groups a parameter is in by modifying it, and then clicking
Filter.
- User-defined 2 - alternate
list of parameters that you define for your process. Specify which groups a
parameter is in by modifying it, and then clicking
Filter.
- Common configuration
parameters - parameters that are typically configured.
- Advanced configuration
parameters - less common, more complex parameters.
- I/O References - references
to I/O signals from the field devices.
- Connectors - parameters that
are shown, by default, as connectors on a library block.
- On-line parameters -
parameters you see while debugging the algorithm.
