The function blocks used to configure DeltaV SIS modules are different from the function blocks used to configure other DeltaV control modules. Even blocks that seem the same may behave differently or have different parameters in an SIS module. For example, an analog input block (LSAI) in an SIS module will have different parameters than an analog input block (AI) in a control module.
