Add a composite function block

With the module open, click the Diagram View for the module.

Select the palette that contains the composite block you want.

Drag and drop the composite block from your palette to the desired location in the Function Block Diagram.

Right-click the block, and rename it, if you want.

Click the Main button, and then click Save.

If you have not added any composite function blocks to your palette, you can drag and drop the Custom Block from the Special Items palette items onto your diagram and use the Custom Block Assistant to add the composite you want, or you may need to customize your palette to add the composite blocks to your palette.
