Download a module

On the Home tab, in the Module group, click Download. If the module has not been assigned to a node or saved, the program enables you to do so.
The download process verifies that you are ready to download to the controller. Click OK if you are sure all safety precautions are in place and you are ready to download.
WARNING!
A download can potentially bump the I/O. To prevent this, place the block producing the outputs in manual mode before you download. Care must be taken to determine if the process can withstand this temporary disruption. To ensure the safety of the process, it may even be necessary to delay the downloading of the configuration changes until the process can be shut down.
When the download is complete, the download log is displayed. Verify that all items have downloaded. If there are any errors or warnings, return to the module, correct the errors and re-download.
