Configure a parameter in an SIS composite template or module

This procedure is the same whether you are configuring an input (or output) parameter or an internal read (or write) parameter in either an SIS composite template or an SIS module.

  1. Select the Special Items palette.
  2. Drag and drop an input (or output) parameter or an internal read (or write) parameter onto the function block diagram or double-click an existing parameter that needs to be configured.
  3. In the Parameter Properties dialog, enter the parameter name, select the parameter type, edit other properties as needed, and then click OK.
