The properties of SIS modules are the same as for DeltaV control modules, except that:
SIS modules do not have the “Restore parameters after restart” property. The property does appear for certain top-level parameters of the module.
SIS modules do not have the “Parameter download behavior” property.
The scan rate list box is grayed because the scan rate is inherited from the Logic Solver. (If the module is not assigned, the scan rate is blank.)
The execution rate cannot be set for SIS modules. (Since they run at the same scan rate, they read values from the last scan.)
The Properties dialog for SIS modules does not have an Arbitration page, but does have an SIS page for entering a Risk Reduction Factor value.
You cannot download from the Tools Property page.
With the SIS module open in Control Studio, click the Diagram view.
Right-click, and then click Properties.
In the General page, enter a Description.
If you wish to mark the module as a Work in Progress, select the check box.
If you wish to create searchable information fields (useful when exporting modules to a user-defined format), enter names into the Type and Subtype fields.
On the Displays page, enter or browse for the displays to be used for the primary control display, detail display, and faceplate display.
