Create an SIS composite block

  1. Drag a composite block from the Special Items palette.
  2. In the Custom Block dialog, enter a name for the block, select New embedded composite block, and then click Next.
  3. Select the number of inputs and outputs for the block, and then click Finish to add the SIS composite block to the SIS module’s function block diagram.
  4. To configure the SIS composite block
  5. Right-click the SIS composite block, and then select Drill Down (or double-click the composite block).
  6. Double-click a parameter to open its Properties dialog.
  7. Edit the properties as needed, and then click OK.
  8. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the remaining parameters.
  9. Right-click the diagram, and then select Back Out to return to the function block diagram.
