Create an SIS composite template (Control Studio)

Linked composites are not allowed in SIS modules. Embedded SIS composites can be one level deep. Therefore, composite blocks cannot be added to composite templates.

  1. Click the Main button , and then click New.
  2. In the New dialog, select SIS Composite Template as the Object Type.
  3. Select Start From Existing, and then browse for an existing composite template or select Create New.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Configure the function block diagram for the SIS composite template.
  6. Click the Main button, and then click Save.
  7. Double-click the category.
  8. Enter a name for the SIS composite template in the Object Name field, and then click Save.
