Create an SIS module

  1. Click the Main button , and then click New.
  2. In the New dialog, select SIS Module or SIS Module Template from the Object Type drop-down list.
  3. Select Start From Existing and browse for an existing module (or a module template) or select Create New

    Function Block Diagram is the only algorithm type available for SIS modules.

  4. Click OK to create the SIS module.
    Note

    The background color of the Palette view is light yellow when an SIS module is being configured.

  5. Configure the module’s function block diagram.
  6. After configuring the SIS module, click the Main button, and then click Save.
  7. From the Look in box, select the Area in which you want to save the SIS module.
  8. Enter a name for the SIS module in the Object Name field.
  9. Leave SIS Modules as the Object Type.
  10. Click Save.
