Create an SIS module template

  1. Click the Main button , and then click New.
  2. In the New dialog, select SIS Module or SIS Module Template as the Object Type.
  3. Select Start From Existing and browse for an existing module (or module template) or select Create New, and then click OK.
  4. Configure the function block diagram for the module template.
  5. Click the Main button, and then click Save.
  6. Select SIS Module Templates as the Object Type.
  7. Double-click Category.
  8. Enter a name for the template in the Object Name field, and then click Save.
    Note

    An SIS module template can also be created in DeltaV Explorer by selecting an SIS module template category, right-clicking, and then selecting New SIS Module Template. The new template can then be opened and configured in Control Studio.
