Lock an SIS module in debug mode

This procedure assumes the SIS module is running in a Logic Solver and the Logic Solver is unlocked.

  1. Navigate to the SIS module in the Assigned SIS Modules of the Logic Solver or under the Area in the Control Strategies section.
  2. Right-click, and then select Open → Open and Debug with Control Studio.
  3. From DeltaV Explorer, select the Logic Solver, right-click, and then click Lock from the menu.
  4. Click Confirm in the Confirmation dialog.
  5. Click OK in the Warning dialog that states the module will be placed in On-line mode and the forced inputs will be removed.
  6. Click Confirm.
Control Studio switches the module to on-line mode since it cannot be in debug mode while the Logic Solver is locked.
