Delete a non-SIS module that is assigned and not running

This procedure applies to any non-SIS Unit, Equipment, or Control module found in DeltaV Explorer under Control Strategies →  Area.

  1. Select the module you want to delete.
  2. Right-click on the module and select Delete from the context menu.
    This launches the Delete module dialog.
  3. Optional:Click the Check for References… button if you want to see what references are being used by the participating module(s).
    This launches the References to Module(s) to be Deleted dialog, which must be closed before continuing to step 4.
      WARNING
    Any references listed in this dialog will be broken once the module is deleted.
  4. Select the Delete module and its assignment check box.
  5. Click OK.
  • The assignment is deleted from the module.
  • The module is deleted from the configuration database.
