Browse SLS 1508 Logic Solver channels from a non-SIS module

SLS 1508 Logic Solver Input Channels can be used in a DeltaV module (non-SIS) for the purpose of Alarm Limit checking. These may only be used as read-only parameters. This browser appears when browsing for an I/O parameter for an AI or DI function block.

  1. Navigate to a DeltaV module in an Area under Control Strategies.
  2. Select an AI or DI function block.
  3. In the right pane, select an I/O parameter (such as IO_IN), right-click, and then select Properties.
  4. Click Browse to browse for a Device Signal Tag.
  5. Select SIS Network from the Look In drop-down list.
  6. Select a Logic Solver.
  7. Select a DST, and then click OK.
    Note:
    The selected DST is saved as an I/O reference for the function block.
