A process cell is a logical grouping of equipment that includes the
equipment required for production of one or more batches. It defines the span
of logical control of one set of process equipment within an area.
Navigate to the area where you want to create the process cell
(System Configuration/Control Strategies).
Right-click the area.
Click
New → Process
Cell
Name the process cell and, optionally, reference a process cell
class.
Note:
In a non-Batch environment, the process cell is a grouping of
modules in an area and is not class-based.
