Export the equipment hierarchy

This procedure creates an export file that defines the equipment hierarchy of areas, process cells, units and modules. This file can be used by a third-party application to create a representation of the DeltaV equipment hierarchy.

Tip:
Export the equipment hierarchy if you add, delete or reorganize hierarchy items and a third-party application is using the hierarchy file.
  1. Click File → Export → Equipment Hierarchy.
  2. Browse to a location that is accessible by the third-party application.
  3. Click Save

    This feature requires the Can Configure key.
