Create an equipment train

  1. Navigate to Equipment Trains (System Configuration/Control Strategies).
  2. Right-click Equipment Trains, and then complete one of the following tasks:
    • To create a new equipment train, click New → Equipment Train.
    • To create an equipment train in a new equipment train category, click New → Equipment Train Folder, and then right-click New → Equipment Train.

    To change the category name, right-click the category, and then click Rename.

  3. Name the equipment train and associate it with an equipment train class in the New Equipment Train dialog.
  4. Select one Unit Alias or Unit Class from the table and choose either option: Use all units in the class or Use only selected units in the class.
    • If you are using all units in the class, you are done configuring this train. All units in the unit class will be available to the operator at run time. This includes units that are added to the class at a later date. Any units that are deleted from the unit class at a future date will no longer be available to the operator at run time.
    • If you are using selected units, select the specific unit from the Available Units list and click the Add >> button. (Conversely, to remove a unit from the Selected Units list, select the it and click << Remove.) Only units that are instances of the unit class are available for selection.
    • Leaving the Selected Units list blank makes all units in the class available to the operator at run time.
  5. Click OK.
