AMS Device Manager: Reconcile a device

The Reconcile Device dialog shows two sets of fieldbus device configuration parameters: parameters in the placeholder and parameters in the device. Use this dialog to transfer parameters from a placeholder to a device and edit parameters in the device.

  1. Modify the parameters of the Standby device by transferring parameters from the placeholder (using the or controls), editing the settings of the Standby device, or a combination of both.
  2. Continue modifying parameters on all the Resource and Transducer blocks as required.
    Note:
    If the device contains an unwriteable device parameter, the transfer controls are disabled. A parameter cannot be overwritten if it is factory-fixed, dynamic, has no value, or there was an error when its value was read. In some cases, even though a parameter setting is different between the left and right sides, it is not writeable.
  3. When you have made all necessary parameter modifications, click OK to save any unapplied changes and close the Reconcile Device dialog.
