Debug an SIS module in a Logic Solver

The SIS module is running in a Logic Solver and the Logic Solver is unlocked.

The debug mode in Control Studio has different capability depending on whether the SIS module is running in a Logic Solver card or in a ProfessionalPLUS workstation.

  1. Navigate to the SIS module in the Area under Control Strategies.
  2. Right-click, and then select Open → Open and Debug with Control Studio. (This menu item is grayed out if the Logic Solver is locked.)
  3. Select a block. The parameters of the block are displayed in the Parameter View.
  4. Select an input parameter, and then right-click. The debug context menu is displayed. Both Force Input and Set Value appear on the menu.
  5. If the input is wired, use Force Input. If input is not wired, use Set Value.
  6. Enter the desired value, and then click OK.
