Use the Express Fieldbus Download option

An express download is only available when at least one port and one of its devices are selected.

The Express Fieldbus Download option (optimized download) is available for faster downloads of fieldbus ports and devices during plant startup and commissioning. One port or multiple ports can be downloaded from the Express Fieldbus Download dialog.

Note:
The Express Fieldbus Download option disables scheduled communications on the fieldbus and is intended only for plants that are starting up and commissioning fieldbus segments. It is not intended for use with a functioning fieldbus segment.
  1. Navigate to the Control Network (System Configuration/Physical Network/Control Network).
  2. Right-click the Control Network.
  3. Click Express Fieldbus Download from the context menu.
