Grant permission to use Remote Client

  1. From the Windows taskbar, select Start → Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Computer Management.
  2. In the Computer Management window, expand Local Users and Groups in the left pane, and select Users.
  3. In the right pane, right-click a DeltaV user name (or group name), and then select Properties from the context menu.
  4. In the Properties dialog for that user, click the Remote Desktop Services Profile tab.
  5. Make sure the box Deny the user permissions to log on to Remote Desktop Session Host server is not checked.
    Note:
    In addition to granting users permission to logon to the server, the DeltaV administrator must also add the users to the Remote Desktop Users group.
