Assign a wireless device to a controller

  1. Right-click the Assigned Wireless I/O folder of the controller.
  2. Select Assign on the context menu.
  3. In the dialog that appears select a wireless device and click OK.
    Note:
    A confirmation dialog appears warning that device will be reassigned. If you continue, the device is reassigned. The WIOC’s controller assignments appear in parentheses next to its name.

There are two other ways to assign a wireless device to a controller:

  • Drag and drop the wireless device onto a controller or a controller's Assigned Wireless I/O folder.
  • From a wireless device placeholder, select Assign on the context menu. From the dialog that apperas, select a controller and click OK.
Note:
The wireless device is assigned to the controller. If the wireless device was previously assigned to a different controller a confirmation dialog appears. The WIOC’s controller assignments appear in parentheses next to its name.
