Add a Profibus device

You must add device definitions to the Profibus Devices section in the Library before you can add a device to a Profibus port.

  1. Navigate to the port of a Profibus card (System Configuration/Physical Network/Control Network/controller/I/O/card).
  2. Right-click the port.
  3. Click New Profibus Device
  4. Browse for the device type and version.
