Assign a WIOC to a controller

  1. Right-click a WIOC under the Wireless I/O Network.
  2. Select Assign on the context menu.
  3. In the dialog that appears select a controller and click OK.

You can also drag and drop a WIOC from the Wireless I/O Network to the Assigned Wireless I/O folder of a controller.

In either method if any devices under the WIOC are assigned to a different controller, a confirmation dialog appears warning that devices will be reassigned. If you continue or there was no confirmation dialog, all the configured devices under the WIOC are assigned to that controller in the database and any devices that were previously assigned to a different controller are changed to the newly selected controller. The controller name appears in parentheses next to the WIOC name.
