Add a node

  1. Navigate to Control Network (System Configuration/Physical Network).
  2. Right-click Control Network.
  3. Select New > and the type of node you want to add.
  4. Rename the node.

Controller names can include as many as 16 characters.

Workstation names can include as many as 15 characters, unless you are adding a redundant Inter-Zone Server. Redundant Inter-Zone Server names can be no longer than 13 characters.

Note:
When you create a new workstation node, the system asks you if you want to create a workstation configuration file.
Note:
You can also create a controller node on the control network with the auto-sensing feature. An autosensed controller can be added by dragging it to the Control Network.
