Assign areas to remote sessions

  1. Navigate to Alarms and Events for the remote session object under the workstation’s Remote Client subsystem.
  2. Right-click Alarms and Events, and then select Assign Area.

    The system displays a valid list of areas.

  3. Select an area.
    Note:
    In order for certain operations in DeltaV Operate (such as alarm area filtering) to function correctly, AREA_A must be assigned to the Alarms and Events object under each Remote Client session.
