Add a HART Device Template from a device

This procedure requires a device template category. Device templates cannot be added to the top level of Device Templates.

Note:
You can also create a device template by selecting and right-clicking a device template category, and then clicking New → Device Template.
  1. Navigate to the device (System Configuration/Physical Network/Control Network/controller node/I/O/card/channel).
  2. Select the device.
  3. Drag the device to a template category (Library/Device Templates/category).
