Create an SIS module from an existing SIS module

You can create a copy of an SIS module in the same area by dragging the module to the Area. You can also use the copy and paste functions to make a copy of an SIS module in the same area or another area.

  1. Select an SIS module in an Area.
  2. Drag the SIS module to the same Area.
    Note:
A new SIS module of the same name, with _n appended to the name is created. The new SIS module is created based on the original. If there are secure parameters in the module, they are not renamed. They are unique in the system because of their SIS module path.
    Note:
If you drag the module to another area, the module is moved rather than copied. To make a copy of the module in another area, use the copy and paste functions.
  3. Select the new module, right-click, and then select Rename.
  4. Enter the new name, and then press ENTER.

The module configuration can then be modified in Control Studio.
